Off at a canter!

As spring approaches, the Saut Hermès returns to the Grand Palais for joyful reunions. On a personal note, it is a moment I look forward to, eagerly, for weeks – rather like a child counting down the days until they are taken to the seaside.
You are no doubt stirred by the same excitement: entering this setting ¬that is so celebratory, so Belle Époque; taking your seat in the stands; waiting with a pounding heart for the arrival of the skilfully trained horses, ready to accomplish – under the sure hand of their rider – the much-hoped-for feat of a clear round.
Then the tension gives way to release, to joyful ease – the ease of wandering and of encounters, expected or chance, in the time it takes to smile. But what is the draw of this unmissable event? Above all, it is a celebration!

When the Saut Hermès makes the Grand Palais vibrate with energy

With this sixteenth edition of the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais, what comes to life beneath its glass roof is more than a competition: it is a true celebration, one that brings together two houses driven by the same creative spirit.
In this unique setting, natural light magnifies every gesture and every round. But it also illuminates a scenography that is constantly renewed, designed to surprise, delight and invite discovery. Between the elegance of the events, the creativity of the staging and the moments shared with the public, the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais becomes a world of its own – a space where sporting excellence enters into dialogue with art and imagination.
This gathering also celebrates a history carried by the architecture and the memory of the Grand Palais – one shaped by the horse. From the monumental quadrigas that crown its avenue to the first equestrian competitions hosted here as early as 1901, this equestrian bond continues to be written today through this event. Each edition of the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais extends this heritage, inscribing it within a living, contemporary project, open to all.
May this 2026 edition be a vibrant and joyful experience for everyone!

The union of elegance and performance

It is always an honour and a pleasure to work for exceptional riders, young talents and a passionate audience, all in the emblematic setting of the Grand Palais, for three days of competition of a rare intensity. This year, the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais once again celebrates the meeting of equestrian passion, sporting excellence and creativity.
For this sixteenth edition, the GL events group and the teams at GL events Equestrian Sport are mobilising their expertise in service of the house.
Together, we will offer a high-level international competition and three days during which sport and the horse are placed in the spotlight, for the enjoyment of participants and visitors alike.
In the heart of Paris, enthusiasts and professionals will experience emotions and moments that only the alchemy between top-level sport, elegance and artistic sensibility can provide.
To everyone, we wish you a wonderful 2026 edition!
